1. A diagnostic kit (for measuring a particular protein level in blood) can be used to test 16 blood samples. To check for kit-to-kit consistency the manu­ facturer tested the blood from 16 patients with two different kits. The data are recorded in diagnost ic .txt. What is your assessment of kit-to-kit con­ sistency.

2. The diameters of 14 rods are measured twice, once with each of two different calipers. Is there a difference between the two types of caliper? Write a brief report addressing this question based on the data in caliper .txt.
