The instantaneous values of voltage applied to a single-phase series R-L load, and the resulting current
in the load, are given by the equations:
v = 8.0 sin 314.16t V; i = 3.5 sin (314.16t + 60o) A
(a) Determine the values of the voltage and current phasors in polar form.
(b) Calculate the instantaneous voltage at a time 0.8 ms after it crosses the zero-value axis in a positive going direction.
(c) Calculate the instantaneous current at a time 1.6 ms after it crosses the zero-value axis in a positive going direction.
(d) Sketch the instantaneous voltage and current waveforms on the same time axis, for one voltage cycle.
