A circular (doughnut shaped) magnetic core has a mean path length of 50 cm and a cross sectional area of 150 cm squared. A coil of wire is wrapped around one side of the core. The core is made of Stalloy having the magnetization curve as shown on the last page.

a. Draw the magnetic core.

b. Draw the magnetic circuit.

c. If the current in the coil is limited to 20 A, how many turns of the coil are required to establish 0.024 Wb of flux in the core?

d. What is the core's relative permeability at that current level (20 A?).

e. What is its reluctance?
