In their article, "A Case Example of Assessment and Evaluation: Building Capability in a Corporate University," Overcast, Schmidt, Lei, Rodgers, and Chung (2009) offer three examples of how a corporation's training program integrated assessment practices that led to institutional improvement and enhanced institutional effectiveness. After reviewing Figure 10.7 in McDavid, Huse, and Hawthorn (2013), describe the importance of assessment for organizational learning and its organizational effectiveness in the context of employee learning/training and performance measurement.
