b. getting help from others: Madows p. 27 - Many successful people in the world received help from their famous family members or friends. 70 % or more of people who are considered successful got help from their relatives, family, and or friends one way or another.
c. being lucky: Kim p. 99 - people with similar credentials, work qualities, and looks end up in different situations. Some of them reached their goals, but some did not. Many people today considered successful did not have good credentials and work qualities, but they happened to be at the right place at the right time. Some famous people accompanied their friends and met a powerful person at a meeting. The powerful person got them a good job.
d. being generous: Thompson p. 123 - Studies indicate that successful people tend to be more generous than others because they know they do not have to compete with non-successful people. They are 60% more likely to help others in need.
e. being happy; enjoying a happy life: Roberts p. 34 - Once people know that they have achieved something important, they start enjoying life. 75% of successful people do activities other than their work, like traveling and taking their family to where they can enjoy themselves.
