0 ≤ t ≤ 1 , 0.5 ≤ t ≤ 1 , 0.9 ≤ t ≤ 1 , 0.99 ≤ t ≤ 1? If you can show me how to do the first, I can do the rest.
2) If f(x)=5^x, what is f'(1)= lim h->0 ? How would you convert this function into the form (f(a+h)-f(a))/h? The definition says 'if the limit exists'. I assume the limit is 0 as stated in lim h->0 but the f(a+h)... business is confusing.
3) If f(x) = 8-2x+7x^2 , what is f ' (a)? Where does the (a) come from?
