B. Consider Belgian Lace Products (BLP), a hypothetical table linens manufacturer. Its manufacturing subsidiary buys inputs from various suppliers, manufactures highquality lace napkins and tablecloths, and sells the output to the four BLP-owned distribution subsidiaries.
