Nuclear reaction:
A nuclear reaction is semantically the process in which two nuclei, or else a nucleus of an atom and a subatomic particle (like a proton, neutron, or high energy electron) from exterior the atom, collide to generate one or more nuclides which are distinct from the nuclide(s) which began the process.
