Introduction to Construction and Working of Front Loading Wash
The construction and working of front loading washing machine is identical to top loading apart from that it contains a cylindrical drum, in its place of the long agitator as displayed in the below diagram. In this type, washing is performed through tumbling the clothes along with the help of a simple cylindrical drum termed as tumbler washing tub as displayed in the diagram (Tumbler washing tub).
The disc consists of blades, termed as agitating vanes or paddle, on its upper side. The rotation of the disc and the blades generate strong currents in the water and the rubbing of clothes which assists in removing the dirt from clothes. When Front loaders spin and permit gravity to do the act like the clothes tumble and bounce, thus do not have agitators.
