NOT Gate (INVERTER)

The output Q is true while the input A is NOT true; the output is the opposite of the input:

AND GATE:

The output Q is true when if input A AND input B are both true: Q = A AND B

An AND gate can comprise two or more inputs, the output of it is true when all inputs are true.

The output Q is true when inputs A and B are similar (both true or both false):

Q = (A AND B) OR (NOT A AND NOT B)

EX-NOR gates can only contain 2 inputs.
