Nitrogen Cycle

Nitrogen Cycle:

The atmosphere is the source of elemental nitrogen that can’t be employed directly by plants. The atmospheric nitrogen is transformed to nitrite, ammonia, nitrate or organic nitrogen in the soil.

The decay and death of organic systems causes cycling of ammonia from amino acids, pyrimidines, and purines. Some of these forms might also be transformed to Nitrogen gas and might be cycled back into the atmosphere.
