Working of load testing for websites
Describe the working of load testing for websites?
Expert
Websites have software that is known as a web server and this is installed on the server. The user receives a response after sending a request to the web server. So, for example, when you type www.yahoo.com the web server answers your request by sending you the home page of www.yahoo.com. This occurs every time you click on a link, do submit, and so on. Hence if we want to perform load testing we have to just multiply requests and responses "N" times. This is what done by automation tool. It first takes the request and response and then mere multiplies it by ‘N’ times and conveys it to the web server, that outcomes in load simulation.
