Throughout translation ribosome always exposes two mRNA codons to be translated through moving along the mRNA. When a peptide bond is made up the ribosome moves to depiction the next codon. This moving is named as ribosomal translocation. (In rough endoplasmic reticulum ribosomes are affixed outside the membrane and mRNA molecules slightly moving through them).
