What is Value Stream Mapping

Value Stream Mapping: It is a lean technique which helps in manufacturing and implementing efficiency in the organization. The necessary steps for implementation are:

1. Recognize the target family, service or product

2. Draw the current stream map, it must show current steps and the information needed. It can be production flow or simple supply chain entities.

3. Remove waste from the value stream mapping.

4. Create a future value stream mapping.

For an organization point of view it is ever challenging to have schedule management for all the work that they put in. Without proper schedule and maintenance all the work and projects will fall apart.
