Revenue Stream: It is a term used to explain a form of income in a government or business setting. Any activity which produces income can be illustrated as a revenue stream, and it’s general for businesses to contain numerous streams of income. Governments also rely upon numerous revenue streams from sources in addition to taxes. Like a business expands, the owner will frequently seek out other revenue streams and will analyze his concepts based on market potential risk, predictors and return on investment. Having numerous revenue streams can make this more likely for a business to weather financial downturns, since this is not relying on one source, as sales, for all of its income.
