Interface is defined as a shared boundary or connection between the two dissimilar objects, devices or the systems through which the information is passed. The connection may be either physical or logical.
This term is utilized in several fields, involving the geology, chemistry, electronics, computers-both hardware and software and telecommunications. Such as, in the chemistry it describes the surface between two distinct phases within the heterogeneous mixture, and in geology it is defined as a surface or anomalous layer between the two different kinds of rocks or the geological epochs.
Leverage or Gearing Ratios: Such ratios comprise the Long Term Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Debt to Equity Ratio, Interest Coverage Ratio. Here, the interest coverage ratio is also termed “number of times interest earned”.
