Hemodialysis refers to the artificial blood filtration which is made by specific machines in substitution of kidneys. Hemodialysis may be essential in the patients who are suffering from the diseases which causes renal failure, such as lupic renal complications, diabetic renal complications, and others. During hemodialysis, blood of the patient gets deviated to the filtering machine and after filtration it returns to the body. Hemodialysis is normally done two, three or more times a week in the process which may takes several hours. Generally, kidney transplantation is considered as an alternative to the hemodialysis.
