Explain the aim of the Domain Name System? Describe the three main division of domain name space.

Domain Name System is used to map the name to an address and reverse of it an address to the name.
Domain name space is decomposed into the three different sections:
a) Generic domains,
b) Country domains and
c) Inverse domain.
Generic domain: It defines the registered hosts in accordance with their generic behavior, it uses generic suffixes.
Country domain: It uses two characters for recognizing a country as last suffix.
Inverse domain: It determines the domain name given to the IP address.
