Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM): It is a combination of separate applications, like computer aided design (abbreviated as CAD), computer aided engineering (abbreviated as CAE), and computer aided manufacturing (abbreviated as CAM), robotics, and manufacturing resource planning (abbreviated as MRP-II).
