The Stem cells are undifferentiated cells which is able to differentiate into other types of specialized cells. The stem cells of bone marrow originate the differentiated blood cells. As per the stimulus from the specific growth factors stem cells are turned into red blood cells, leukocytes and megakaryocytes a cell which forms the platelets. Research shows that stem cells of bone marrow can also be differentiated into the nervous, muscle and hepatic cells.
