LRC:
In longitudinal redundancy check or LRC, a block of bits is decomposed into the rows and a redundant row of bits is appended to the whole block.
CRC:
The third and most powerful of redundancy checking techniques is the cyclic redundancy checks or CRC, CRC is based upon the binary division. Here the sequence of redundant bits, termed as the CRC remainder is appended to the end of data unit.
