Active liquids are stored within the concrete tanks. These tanks are buried under the ground till the percentage of radioactivity decays up to a level which is safe for disposal. Solid wastes are classified into combustible wastes and non-combustible wastes. Combustible wastes can be reduced to ashes by putting them into fire where as non-combustible wastes consists of concrete, glass, metal, asbestos and various other things which cannot be converted to ashes by burning.
