In the cell nucleus the major structures are: nucleolus, optically dense region, spherical shaped, where there are strenuous ribosomal RNA (rRNA) allocated to proteins (there might be more than one nucleolus in the nucleus); chromatin, made of the DNA molecules dispersed in nuclear matrix throughout cell interphase; karyotecha, or nuclear membrane, membrane which delimits nucleus.
