How striped pattern of striated muscle cells is formed?

Functional unit of muscle fibers are sarcomeres. In the sarcomeres, blocks of myosin and actin molecules are posed in the organized manner. Sarcomeres are align in sequence forming the myofibrils which are longitudinally placed within the cytoplasm of the muscle fibers. The grouping of the consecutive blocks of myosin and actin in the parallel filaments generates the striped pattern of striated muscle tissue seen beneath the microscope.
