What are the strategic postures in dealing with high-velocity changes of an organisation?

An organization can assume any of three strategic postures in dealing with high-velocity alteration:
i. It can react to alteration.
ii. It can anticipate alteration, make plans for dealing with the expected alterations, and follow its plans as alterations arise.
iii. It can lead alteration.
Reacting to alteration and anticipating alteration are basically defensive postures; leading alteration is an offensive posture.
