Global Temporary tables (GTT) -

1. While they are created, its definition goes in Data Dictionary.
2. While materialized data goes within temp space.
3. That why, data is active up to the session ends, and definition will keep there upto it’s not dropped by using Drop table statement.
When dropped from some other session then it must be Drop table all;
4. You can collect stats at GTT.
