Explain the difference between spermatid and spermatocyte II?

The spermatids (n) are said to be the products of second division of meiosis (meiosis II) within the male gametogenesis. Each spermatocyte II produces two spermatids  totaling four spermatids for each spermatocyte I which enter the meiosis.
