It is as well termed as the powerhouse of the cell; the mitochondria give the position for the production of ATP (that is, adenosine tri-phosphate). ATPs are generated through glycolosis, Krebs cycle, and the electron transport. ATP in turn gives energy for the cell at molecular level. They breakdown the food and discharge energy.
