Every user is mandatory to have a valid login account before employing LANwriter to write data. The user validation is against WindowsXP security database of computer hosting LANwriter. The users are of distinct types and there are ascending levels of security rights. For example: Admins have complete control whereas Normal users can just compile data writing jobs and write them after Approvers provide approval. All the data is cataloged and optionally archived to a spare Disk Drive prior to being written.
