Referring to the parallel ports in Linux

In Linux how you refer to the parallel ports, in which the devices like the printers are connected?

Under the Windows you refer to parallel port just as the LPT port, whereas, under the Linux it is referred as /dev/lp . LPT1, LPT2 and LPT3 could therefore be referred to as /dev/lp0, /dev/lp1, or /dev/lp2.
