Rabies , also named as hydrophobia, is the viral disease. It is found in dogs, bats, cats and other wild animals. The transmission to humans happens through saliva of the contaminated animals, majorly through bites.

The rabies virus is the neurotropic and attacks central nervous system in a fast and lethal fashion. The prevention of disease is done by the prophylactic vaccination of animals and humans. The treatment is done by the anti-rabies serum having particular antibodies against virus.
