Pulmonary ventilation
How the concentration of the carbon dioxide in blood is affected through the pulmonary ventilation? What happens to its concentration and to the blood pH whenever frequency of the respiratory is either increased or lowered?
Expert
The pulmonary ventilation frequency (refers to number of inhalations per time unit) increases or lowers the concentration of the carbon dioxide within the blood. If the process becomes intense more gas is eliminated to the exterior and if it is decreased the gas is perpetuated inside the organism.
