Expert
Pteridophytes are the tracheophyte (vascular) plants, i.e., they have tissues which are specialized in the conduction of water and nutrients. Bryophytes refer to the nonvascular plants. Within the pteridophytes thus, the transport of the substance is done through the vessels and in the bryophytes that transport happens through the diffusion.
