What is the basic difference between the promotional mix and marketing mix?

The marketing mix and promotional mix does have certain differences, both being extremely crucial for the success of the business. Marketing is much necessary for the growth and permanence of business operations. This helps in making new customers and keeping the existing ones to keep the business continuing. Marketing manly focuses on all the elements of the marketing mix: product, price, place and endorsement as promotion mainly focuses more on the customer- how to reach the product to its customers and how to sell it to them eventually.
