The plant parenchyma is categorized into photosynthetic parenchyma, a tissue which has cells having different chloroplasts and the high photosynthesis rate which is found majorly within leaves, and storage parenchyma, specialized within the storage of the water (like in cactus), starch or air (like in the aquatic plants).
