Parathormone and calcium blood level
Specify the relation between secretion of the parathormone and the calcium blood level?
Expert
Parathormone raises level of the calcium blood as it stimulates the resorption (remodelation) of osseous tissue. When osteoclasts remodel bones calcium is liberated in the circulation. Parathormone also acts raising the calcium absorption within the intestines through the vitamin D activation. It acts in kidneys, promoting the tubular calcium resorption too.
