The origin of sexual reproduction is an evolutionary enigma, complicated by the fact that the maintenance of such a reproductive process is extremely costly, energetically speaking. Evolution cannot explain the origination of egg cells and sperm cells, andhow the two come together to form a living being. It also cannot explain the difference between animal sexuality and human sexual relations. In light of the intricate complexity involved in the human reproductive system, evolutionary theory does not provide sufficient answers. The only answer that provides both the how’s and why’s of sexual reproduction is an Intelligent Creator.
