(i) To make safe and maintain complete, correct and impersonal details of different jobs or occupation in the whole organization.
(ii) To offer a standard process for determining the relative worth of each job in a plant.
(iii) To find out the rate of pay for each job that should be reasonable and equitable with relation to other jobs in the industry, organization or community.
(iv) To ensure that same wages should be paid to all capable employees for same work.
