Muscle tissues are made up of cells which are able to carry out the contractions and hence to generate the movement. Function of muscle tissue is to pull bones known as skeletal striated muscle, to contract and move viscera and vessels known as smooth muscle and to make the heart to beat known as cardiac striated muscle. Muscle cells have an internal structure known as sarcomeres where there are myosins and actins molecules disposed in order to create the contraction and distension.
