Mission Critical Systems or real-time system
Describe important aspect of Mission Critical Systems or real-time system?

A real time operating system has well described fixed time constraints. Process has to be done inside the defined constraints or the system will unsuccessful. An instance is the operating system for a flight control computer or advanced jet airplane. Frequently utilized as a control device in a dedicated application such as controlling scientific experiments, medical imaging systems, industrial control systems, and some display systems. Real-Time systems might be either hard or soft real-time.
Hard real-time:
Secondary storage limited or absent, data stored into the short term memory, or read-only memory (ROM) Conflicts along with time-sharing systems, not supported through general-purpose operating systems.
Soft real-time:
restricted utility in industrial control of robotics
Useful in applications (multimedia, virtual reality) needing advanced operating-system features.
