Write down the two main types of endocytosis.

Endocytosis is entrance of material in cell engulfed by the portions of the cell membrane. Endocytosis can be categorized as phagocytosis or pinocytosis. In the pinocytosis small particles on external surface of membrane stimulate the invagination of membrane inwards and vesicles full of which particles then separate from the membrane and enter cytoplasm. In the phagocytosis bigger particles on external surface of membrane persuade the projection of pseudopods outwards enclosing particles; the vesicle then detaches from the membrane and enters cytoplasm getting the name phagosome.
