Left and right bronchii

The reason of this elevation is because of position of the heart in left side of chest. Accidentally aspired objects are mostly found in right bronchus since the inferior angle between trachea and this bronchus is less than the inferior angle between trachea and the left bronchus as the left bronchus is more horizontal zed. Thus, aspired objects tend to fall in right side (bronchus) and not in the left.
