Knowledge Management - Organizational Behavior

"Knowledge is information that changes something or somebody - either by becoming grounds for actions, or by making an individual (or an institution) capable of different or more effective action."

Like many other concepts and practices in management and organizational behavior, the exact meaning and definition of knowledge management, or KM, is not always clear. A recent academic analysis of KM defines it as "the development of tools, processes, systems, structures and cultures explicitly to improve the creation, sharing, and is of knowledge critical for decision making." Although this definition is comprehensive, the exact meaning of the term most often depends on the user.
