Privacy issues are almost always important and doubly so when it comes to international customers, as what can be considered as private when it comes to one country is not the same for others as well. So, new initiatives have been taken to make privacy policy move from a website enforced model to a customer enforced model. This has been done using P3P, where a website would check what are the privacy levels set by the customer, and prompt the customer if any website does not follows to them, and present with alternate course of actions.
