It can be employed to replace body part missing from birth, because of injury or because of defect. The major demerit of prosthetic limb is its cost. Furthermore, prosthetic limbs have to be replaced every 3-4 year because of the wear and tear. If the limb has fit tissues then the sockets in the limb have to be replaced all month.
