• Controllers can be considered to be an interface among the host and the disk computer.
• Now days many of the Controller circuits are placed in the Southbridge of the motherboard.
• The controller is as well employed for the subsequent functions: Wear leveling, Error code correction. Bad Block, disturb read and scrubbing.
• SSD is relatively costly as compared to Simple hard disks.
