Immobilize link state routing
Why do I have to immobilize link state routing?
Expert
Link state routing should be disabled when two or more routing groups are configured to receive or send mail from an Exchange 2007 computer which has the Hub Transport server role installed. (The Hub Transport server was formerly recognized as a bridgehead server). This is because Exchange 2007 uses Active Directory to find out routing topology. The Exchange 2007 servers don’t propagate link state upgrades. When link state routing is allowed and there is more than one routing group configured to mail to or from an Exchange 2007 Hub Transport server, routing loops may take place.
