In positive feedback, the consequence caused by an action stimulates the action even more. It is a rarer method of the homeostatic regulation.
An illustration of positive feedback is the blood clotting procedure in which each and every chemical reaction generates enzymes which catalyze the following reaction till the formation of fibrin. Thus the products of antecedent chemical reactions are consumed and the symmetry of each reaction is dislocated in the direction of production of more enzymes (that is, a positive feedback).
