Illustrate the term DOMAIN? Write down the difference between the domain and a workgroup?

Domain is created whenever we install Active Directory. It is a security boundary that is employed to manage the computers inside the boundary.

Domain can be employed to centrally administer computers and we can govern them by using common policies termed as group policies. We cannot do the similar with workgroup.
