In an internal ear there are the semicircular canals and the cochlea. Fluid which fills cochlea transmits the pressure to the semicircular canals by receiving vibration from the ossicular chain of the middle ear. Inside the semicircular canals cilia of the hair cells of these structures is moved by the pressure variation of the fluid filling. The hair cells then turn out action potentials that are transmitted to the brain all the way through the auditory nerves.
